Overview

The MEP Engineer should have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. The AVP should have a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to manage third party services and develop internal standards. Their responsibilities include daily inspections of branch and data center infrastructure, risk analysis, equipment upgrades, cross departmental collaboration, and emergency response planning. They will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of our MEP systems.

Responsibilities

MEP and Facility Assistance

  • Possess a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems, and apply this knowledge to problem-solving.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures for managing mechanical and electrical facilities, aligned with bank policies and industry best practices.
  • Oversee and manage third-party service providers to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of branch and data center infrastructure, identify potential risks, and propose solutions.
  • Plan, budget, implement, and evaluate upgrades for outdated equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and address issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans, and be prepared to handle unexpected situations.
  • Seek opportunities to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Comply with all company, regional and international policies.
  • Manage the relationships with key internal and external vendor partners (Engineers, Vendors, Contractors etc.).
  • Analyze and interpret various types of data in order to draw conclusions and solve problems.

 

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Capable to conduct ongoing monitoring in industry standards for facility operation and maintenance. Ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks while keeping the systems running efficiently.
  • Possess strong communication skills to deal with internal and external auditors, internal risk management teams, branches and business departments, IT department, third party vendors and etc.
  • Possess strong awareness of risk management. Develop, assess and perform control testing of the systems.
  • Possess ability to identify gaps and deficiencies in the existing system design and apply adjustment according to changes in the regulatory environment. Regularly optimizing the system with third-party vendors to improve the operational efficiency of the systems and resilience to potential risks.
  • Understand and comply with bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

 

Project implementation

  • Design the structure and implement the project with designate vendors according to bank’s requirements and execute the project plan as a project manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical Engineer or Construction Management required.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional work experience required. Candidates with supervisory experiences are strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of commercial high rise, campus environment, and/or property facility management experience required.
  • Minimum 4 years of P&L responsibility and budgetary experience required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with leasing, construction, engineering and all facets of property operations and facilities management is preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with critical system environments is preferred.
  • Understanding of general accounting and financing is a preferred.
  • Experience and working knowledge of account payables, receivables, budgets, and expenditure control are also preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills and excellent interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE), Certified Engineering Technician (CET), Certified Building Commissioning Technician (CBCT) certifications preferred.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing components.

Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.

USD $65,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
