Overview

This role will be responsible for the preparation, visualization, and detailed analysis of the Bank’s financial management reports and head office regulatory reports and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Financial Management Reporting

  • Produce visualized financial data and compose monthly financial reports for Executive Management;

  • Assist in evaluating the Bank’s financial performance with visualized financial data in presentations and support heads of department and executive management with data-driven analysis;

  • Conduct market research across different market segments to identify customer and market trends;

 

Profitability System Maintenance & Reports Reconciliation

  • Assess data inconsistencies with remediation to ensure accuracy and completeness of management reporting in the profitability system;
  • Test new system enhancements including but not limited to data mapping and data accuracy, report formats, and dashboard visualization to ensure system satisfies required standards;

 

Head Office request Regulatory Reports and Financial Analysis

  • Prepare head office requested regulatory reports and financial analysis
  • Responses to questions raised by the head office
  • Responsible financial projection and operating forecast (Profit & Loss).
  • Support heads of department and executive management with data-driven analysis.

 

Ad-Hoc

  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, consolidate presentation materials, and arrange necessary management meetings.
  • Prepare Ad-Hoc managerial reports based on requests and new requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree of Accounting or Finance required
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in banking and financial services industry is required
  • Basic knowledge of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Pertinent company codes and policies; personnel processes; program planning and development; audit procedures; and regulatory policies and laws
  • Proficient user of financial software (MS Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong oral communication and written skills
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese is required

Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.

USD $45,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
