Overview

Daily operation on interest rate risk management, liquidity risk management, FX risk management and FTP methodology and system implement/enhancement.

Responsibilities

As a Liquidity and Funding Intern, the candidate will gain hands-on experience in treasury and liquidity management while working closely with senior team members. The key responsibility includes:

  • Assist in the coordination of the bank's liquidity and funding activities, including the preparation of related reports and assessments
  • Support key initiatives such as Intraday Liquidity monitoring, Cash Flow projection, Contingency Funding Plan and Early Warning Indicator reporting
  • Assist in FX funding and hedging process, as well as Nostro accounts monitoring
  • Support funding plan implementation with exposure to the Bond Issuance, Brokered CD, Yankee CD issuance, customer deposits and other funding instruments
  • Handle ad-hoc request and related projects based on management requirements, providing valuable insights to liquidity risk management and funding strategies

Qualifications

  • Master degree is preferred, and bachelor degree is required
  • Quantitative analysis skills and also computer skills, including excel, Word, VBA, and SQL
  • Proficient language skills in verbal and writing in English and Chinese
  • Quick learner

Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.

USD $18.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr.
