Overview

Coordinate the daily banking operations of remittance, ACH, teller transactions, fund transfer transaction, ATM transactions, and etc. Conduct cash vault management and cash shipment duties. Prepare daily and monthly data reports. Maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Supervision of Daily Operation

  • Handle daily banking operational tasks including but not limited to verifying and authorizing remittance transaction, authorizing fund transfer transactions, monitoring ACH transactions, monitoring ACH reject reports, authorizing stop payment, standing order, foreign exchange transactions, review registering transaction logs, sending SWIFT MT199 and MT 103 messages, and etc.
  • Open and close vault and maintain vault cash.
  • Monitor and verify tellers’ cash box ensuring balanced cash box.
  • Order and make cash shipments.
  • Handle telephone inquiries and confirm payment instruction with customers through phone calls.
  • Reconcile and verify daily transactions.
  • Provide high quality customer service and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner.
  • Promote and cross-sell products and services to customers.
  • Process e-commerce payment related transactions timely.
  • Handle and respond inquiries from Head Office, domestic branches, and other departments.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all monetary instruments.

Reconciliation and Reporting

  • Verify and monitor daily transaction records and logs.
  • Conduct coaching and training for subordinates to enhance knowledge in daily banking operations to increase productivity.
  • Support bank system enhancement and transformation related projects
  • Oversee internal account reconciliation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of daily and monthly financial data
  • Review debit card reconciliation.
  • Review ACH reject return reports.
  • Review daily reconciliation reports.
  • Review periodic reports including but not limited to daily foreign currency. MT103 reports, TIB reports, weekly Cash Transaction Report, and etc.

Compliance

  • Understand and support compliance with all applicable regulatory guidelines such as Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Consumer Compliance, Suspicious Activity Reporting, Currency Transaction Reporting and etc.
  • Conduct investigation on irregular and unusual transactions and payments.
  • Adhere to all department and banking policies and procedures to ensure all business conducted are strictly complying with relevant regulations and rules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with major in business, financial, accounting or economics is required, master's degree preferred.
  • 4-5 years of work experience in banking business or banking operation.
  • Adequate knowledge of banking products and services.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking operational procedure to perform duties accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to accomplish work assignments under tight schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and writing are a must
  • Bilingual ability in Mandarin is required.

Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.

USD $65,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
