Overview

The General Management Associate plays a critical role in supporting the departmental general management, digital media, risk management and purchasing efforts. This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation of comprehensive reports, and maintaining effective communication. The role requires collaboration across various departments within the bank to collect information, participate in bank-wide projects and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:

 

General Management

  • Assist in delivering comprehensive bilingual corporate-level reports in English and Chinese.
  • Provide data-driven analysis to support strategic decision-making of the team and department.
  • Liaise with internal departments to collect and consolidate information, ensuring seamless and efficient collaboration.
  • Act as a point of contact for inquiries related to reporting activities.
  • Liaise with HO under guidance when needed.       

Purchasing and Inventory Control

  • Assist to process the purchase requests for items including but not limited to office equipment, computer equipment, printing material, office supplies, etc. in accordance to the Bank’s relevant policies and procedures.
  • Implement the inventory control by reviewing purchase orders for accuracy and reporting any inconsistencies to supervisor.

Risk Management

  • Implement, or coordinate with relevant teams of EO on the implementation of risk management policies and procedures based on the IRM’s requirements.
  • Coordinate risk management related requests internally and externally.

Digital Media and Other

  • Design and create digital materials in relevant to the team’s responsibilities.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by team lead and department management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Language and Translation, or a related field required at the time of hiring. Master's degree preferred.
  • Internship experiences required.
  • Knowledge in Business Management, Planning, Banking, Risk Management, Compliance, or Internal Control preferred.
  • Bilingual ability in English and Mandarin highly preferred.

Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.

USD $50,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
